I specialize in treating adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress/burnout, and chronic illness. Many present as independent, resilient, and appear “put together” to others. Internally, they feel unfulfilled, overwhelmed, and struggle to manage their emotional well-being. They can often recall impactful life events but are unsure how to recognize and/or process emotions surrounding them. These individuals recognize that their usual way of “pushing through” isn’t enough and are ready to explore healthier, more sustainable ways of moving forward.
I am a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral oriented therapist who incorporates mindfulness, strength based, and person-centered approaches. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and trusting environment where you feel supported to explore difficult feelings and experiences without judgment. Our time together will help you recognize, understand, and challenge emotional patterns. Together, we will build upon your existing strengths and rewrite old narratives that no longer fit your life.
I am a Black/Biracial therapist and HBCU alumna who integrates this personal experience along with culturally informed training into my therapeutic work. Ten years of practice with people of different backgrounds across various mental health settings has taught me flexibility in understanding life through the eyes of others.
Clients would describe me as a genuine, compassionate, and attentive provider who meets them where they are in their journey.

Just because we can carry many things on our own, doesn’t mean we should. You deserve to be seen and heard for who you truly are. I look forward to building a trusting relationship and creating meaningful change together.
